Welcome to our website and stable! Stall Ax is a small countryside stable in Ostrobothnia region in Finland near the Gulf of Bothnia and the city of Kokkola. Our main goals are to breed quality standard size Shetland Ponies and to arrenge activities for children and adults with the ponies. Driving is in the center of our activities and we offer pony clubs, courses and lessons. All our ponies are suitable for driving and/or riding, all of them can do pony agility and have also been very successful in shows. The owners are Leena and Marko Jokinen, both with Polytechnic degrees in Agricultural and Rural industries, Leena with specializing in horses. Leena has a long experience of trotting horses, breeding etc. and has worked as a teacher in equine colleges and as judge for Standardbreds and Finn horses in official shows. Marko has also MS with studies in animal sciences.
